How Our Roman Blind Pricing Works

Discover the logic behind our pricing model before placing your order—designed to be fair, transparent, and tailored to your exact measurements.

How This Roman Blind Is Priced

Our Roman blind price is calculated from your finished width and drop, the fabric you choose, and a small base fee that covers essential components and standard workmanship. Your final price is calculated automatically in real time on the product page — no manual calculation needed.

What’s Included in the Final Price

  • Fabric usage based on your measurements (for the Roman blind structure and finish)
  • Standard making & workmanship (cutting, sewing, folding structure, assembly)
  • Headrail system and essential hardware
  • Heat-setting treatment (where applicable)

Why We Use a 2.2× Fabric Factor

Roman blinds require extra fabric to create neat folds and a premium finish. We typically use the same fabric on the front and back (rather than a basic lining fabric) for a more refined look. That’s why the calculator uses an estimated 2.2× fabric factor to convert your finished width into the fabric required.

Example (fabric usage):
If your finished width is 2.3m, estimated fabric used is 2.3 × 2.2 = 5.06m.

Transparent Pricing

No hidden fees. What you see is what you pay.

Final price is based on the live calculator and may vary by fabric and selected options.

With Valance
This tool is designed for Roman shades only.

  • Inside Mount: Fits inside the window recess for a clean, built-in look (best when recess depth is sufficient).

  • Outside Mount: Mounts on the wall or above the window frame for better coverage (ideal if the recess is shallow, or if you want improved light control and privacy).
Not sure which is best? Check our Roman Blind Measuring Guide or send us a window photo and we’ll advise.

Yes. If there are window handles, locks, flyscreen frames, sensors, or anything protruding inside the recess, you may need extra clearance or a different mount option.
If you’re unsure, send us a side photo of the recess and we’ll help you confirm.

If your recess is partially tiled, the space between tiles is often the narrowest point.
Please measure the tightest width (often between tiles) to ensure the blind fits properly.

For maximum coverage and fewer light gaps, Outside Mount is usually best.
You can also select more privacy-focused fabric options (if available). Tell us your room (bedroom/living/bathroom) and we can recommend the best setup.

Production starts after your order is confirmed. Lead times can vary depending on fabric and options, but we’ll keep you updated through your order status and email notifications.

Light creasing can happen during transit and is normal. Once installed, the fabric typically relaxes and looks smoother over time. We also apply heat-setting treatment where applicable.

Absolutely. Send us your measurements + a window photo (and let us know Inside or Outside Mount), and we’ll help confirm the best size and setup.
