Motorised Window Treatment Warranty

This Motorised Window Treatment Warranty (this “Warranty”) applies to eligible motorised curtain tracks, motors, remotes and related components (collectively, the “Products”) purchased through the websites located at lemonho.com and www.lemonhone.com (collectively, the “Site”), which are owned and operated by Lemonho Home Furnishing Co., Ltd. and Lemon Home International Limited (collectively, “Lemonho”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

1. Products Covered

This Warranty applies to the following motorised window treatment products purchased from the Site:

  • Motorised curtain tracks (including motor, track and remote/control set)
  • Motorised roller blinds and shades
  • Compatible motors, receivers, hand-held remotes and wall switches
  • Smart controllers and hubs sold by Lemonho as part of the system

Any accessories provided as complimentary gifts or clearly marked as “Final Sale” or “No Warranty” are not covered under this Warranty.

2. Warranty Period

  • The Products are covered by a 1-year limited warranty from the date of delivery, under normal residential use.
  • This Warranty does not apply to commercial or heavy-duty usage unless expressly agreed in writing at the time of purchase.

3. What This Warranty Covers

During the warranty period, Lemonho will, at our discretion:

  • Repair, or
  • Replace, or
  • Provide an appropriate refund or credit

for any Product component (motor, track, roller system, remote, controller, or hub) that has a confirmed manufacturing defect or functional failure under normal use.

Replacement products or parts may be new or refurbished and will be functionally equivalent to the original. Any repaired or replacement item will be covered for the remainder of the original warranty period or for 90 days from the date of replacement, whichever is longer.

4. What Is Not Covered

This Warranty does not cover, without limitation:

  • Incorrect installation, wiring errors, poor mounting or misalignment by third-party installers or end users
  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, impact, dropping, improper handling, pets or children
  • Damage caused by power surges, unstable voltage, lightning, water ingress, moisture, fire, construction dust or other environmental factors
  • Damage or malfunction caused by using non-compatible accessories or unauthorised modifications
  • Normal wear and tear, including noise differences, minor vibration or small variations in running speed that do not affect basic operation
  • Consumable items such as batteries and fuses
  • Products that have had serial numbers or identification labels removed, defaced or altered
  • Any issues arising from failure to follow the installation, wiring or operating instructions provided by Lemonho
  • Failures or malfunctions caused by external smart home systems, mobile apps, Wi-Fi or network issues, voice assistants, gateways or third-party control hubs (including incompatibility, firmware changes or service interruptions) are not covered by this Warranty, as long as the motorised window treatment can still operate normally via its primary control method (such as remote control or wall switch).

5. Installation & On-site Service

  • Lemonho supplies the motorised window treatment system as hardware only.
  • All on-site installation, wiring, integration with home automation systems and final adjustment must be carried out by a qualified local installer.
  • This Warranty covers the Product itself only and does not include any on-site labour charges, call-out fees, inspection fees, removal or re-installation costs. Such costs are the responsibility of the customer.

6. Returns & Exchanges

Most of our motorised window treatment systems are made-to-order based on your measurements and configuration preferences. As such, they are generally not eligible for return or exchange due to change of mind or ordering mistakes.

If a major manufacturing defect or transport damage is confirmed, we will arrange an appropriate remedy in line with this Warranty and our
Return & Refund Policy.

7. How to Make a Warranty Claim

If you believe your Product has a defect covered by this Warranty, please:

  1. within a reasonable time after discovering the issue. Contact us at hello@lemonho.comCreate a Support Ticket
  2. Provide your order number, date of purchase and a description of the problem.
  3. Include clear photos and/or short videos showing the issue (e.g., error behaviour, damage, abnormal movement).

We may ask additional questions or request more photos/videos to diagnose the issue remotely. In some cases, we may ask you or your installer to perform simple tests (such as power reset or re-pairing the remote) before confirming a warranty remedy.

8. Your Rights Under Consumer Law

Nothing in this Warranty is intended to limit, exclude or modify any rights or remedies you may have under the consumer protection laws that apply in your country or region of purchase.

These statutory rights may continue to apply even after the 1-year limited Warranty period described in this document.

For customers in Australia: Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. The benefits given to you under this Warranty are in addition to any other rights and remedies you may have under the ACL.

10. Effective Date

This Policy is effective as of 19 November 2025 and may be updated from time to time.Any changes will be reflected on this page.
